Our practicum location was at Trường Tương Lai or Future School.

It is a private institution which has 3 grade level categories: Kindergarten, Primary (Grade 1 to 5), and Secondary (Grade 6 to 9). In the forthcoming academic year, an exciting addition to their educational series is anticipated, as they plan to introduce the High School level, accommodating Grades 10 through 12.

I was quite stunned to discover that the school welcomes enrollees as young as six months old. I learned that, following the completion of a six-month maternity leave, parents have the option to enroll their children in the school, where dedicated professionals offer care and attention.

Additionally, it was delightful to find out that Kindergarten students are instructed in American Sign Language (ASL), as demonstrated during the inauguration ceremony.

Furthermore, the school not only teaches English but also includes German as a foreign language in its curriculum.

In this video presentation, the students showcased their proficiency in the eight distinct practical fields of the curriculum: Social Science, Natural Science, Physical Education, Art, Language, Technology, Mathematics, and Computer Science.

I think it is also worth noting here that Future School has created a top-notch and ideal kind of environment where the students can have enrichment with freedom and convenience. Here are the reasons why:

1. Each classroom is equipped with air conditioning to ensure that the students are comfortable inside. They also have shelves where they can store their belongings so as to maximize the surrounding space, favorable to avoid distractions.

2. Each of the two buildings in Future School has 5 floors. Realistically, it can be taxing if the students would take the stairs, so they also have functioning elevators. *Ding*

3. Everyday, healthy and delectable lunch is brought and prepared in the hallway just outside the classrooms. Ather that, and hear me out, they get nap time! Where's the enrollment sheet?

4. Future School has Kitchen rooms accessible for everyone, teachers and students alike, at any time of the day. No one goes home with an empty stomach, for sure.

5. They even have yoga classes!

6. Outside the buildings, they have a lot of spaces for after-school enrichment such as, 1. a treehouse for reading and hanging out, 2. a spacious field for playing, 3. a sandbox, 4. a swimming pool, and 5. a huge garden for planting and gathering. Fun fact! The crops and vegetables that they produce is used as ingredients for lunch and they may also be sold for cheap to the parents. I find it commendable that they managed to make a part of the school sustainable which as a result, teaches the children to do the same.
