Mabuhay, dear reader!
Welcome.
Allow me to preface this blog by giving you some context about myself prior to this whole ordeal:

I had grown very comfortable and content in the same old corners of my hometown, Tagum City, which is why the offer of being an exchange student in a strange country intimidated me.
Why should I venture into a foreign land when I haven't even etched every nook and cranny of my own home?
It was then when I realized that I had condoned myself for far too long in my cocoon of familiarity that eventually, I took a leap of faith and decided to participate in the SEA-Teachers program by the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization or SEAMEO.
So, fasten your seatbelt, as we embark together on the thrilling chapters of my life as an exchange student in Dong Thap, Vietnam. It’s going to be a long ride.
